The Cressington 208HR is a turbo pumped high vacuum coater set up to sputter coat a very thin, very fine layer of gold, gold/palladium, platinum or chromium. The coater is equipped with a tilting, rotating stage as well as a thickness monitor to ensure the coating is as even as possible.
